downey
Cheers lads.. its gonna be a bit of a project as its been lying up for over a year but ive been told the engine was fine before it was parked..the inside of the gas tank is very rusty now so thats the first thing to be sorted."any ideas" And the chain is rusted solid so that has to be replaced i presume .hoping to teach my stepson to drive on it too.seems like a good candidate for that..good to know the serrow engine fits right in ..my mate has a serrow 225 .loves it he does . downey
Well this really is an easy bike to work on .one or two spanners and a philps screwdriver an you would have it stripped ..had to order a second hand tank from the uk . Last one was full of pins holes from the rust .. new c+s and air filter ordered gonna get the tank painted orange "i think" .have lots of parts off for painting too. Handlebars pegs and so on .labour of love for sure
