Can anyone help? I have an oil leak on my 2007 xvs1100 custom. I found the source of the leak its down to a worn gasket. The problem. I have is trying to find a new gasket for it as I don't know what the part is called to order a new gasket. I've uploaded some pictures much appreciated if some one can identify the part. I've done a temporary fix with a paper gasket for the mean while.

    Looks to me like a blanking plate of some sort. What's inside the hole on the barrel? Do you have the manual?

    I would imagine some automotive blue Hylomar sealant would do the trick.

    Gasket paper and scissors will do it.
