Hi all,

Im currently in the middle of restoring my IT175J and i am going to be needing a new clutch basket as the one that was on it is broken. However i cannot seem to find one for sale any where in the UK so i have two questions. 

My first question is does anyone from the UK have a basket i could purchase off of them ?

If not....

My second question is does anyone know if the basket off a DT175 was the same as the basket used on the IT apart from the gear on the back, if it is the same i would be able to purchase a DT basket as they are much easier to get hold of in the UK and remove the gear from the IT basket and re riviot it onto the back of the DT basket, i would be very greatfull if someone either new or was able to send pictures and dimension of a DT basket so i could compare ?

Hiya Josh. I'm afraid I can't help you out with the clutch basket, but you'll get a better response from members of you introduce yourself in the new member section.  

Hi josh ",, I know that , Dt250-400 -IT250-400-465-YZ465  clutch plates & steels ALL  fit  one another,  the 175 am not shure of, .

Changing the primary gear on the end of the crank to suit the new basket  [ match ]will be easiest, some are straight cut,
