You'll also want to get a manual (if you haven't already). That'll give you the general specs and such. :thumb:

on a role here did a bit of googling last night  and found a freebie on line downloadable owners book tells me all i want to know as far as maintenance goes, just need to sort starter motor out and we're good to go, found an old Sukida moped starter motor in my mates shed, striped it down and the insides identical to me yams apart from the end of the shaft is smaller so the search goes on, must be another yamaha or similar  that uses the same internals just looking on fleabay at the moe trying to match

Heads up for anyone in the same position as me wanting a starter motor, found a brand new  Yamaha Aerox 100cc Start Motor on fleabay for £23 bangers striped it down and used the centre armature and bushes out of it and have been able to make a good working starter motor, better than £256, was,nt straight forward mind you a little modification here and there but quite easy archivable maybe hours work, time will tell as to how long it lasts
