So when I bought my xv125 I had a hose I'm pretty sure was attached to the carb and just hung down, I attached to air pod and filter and since then it's now only attached at the air pod and can't find the bit to attach to to the carb, can anyone point me in right direction, I've read service Manuel and can't seem to see where it is 

Sounds like a breather or overflow pipe from the carb .  

If youve got the service manual, you need to be looking at the pages for air filter, carb, and fuel system together. I know its abit of a jigsaw, but it should become clear which pipes go where
