Hi all. I used to own a few yamahas when I was younger but now own a very well looked after yzf400 1999 model. I got her quite cheap as the fella who sold was in tight situation so he had to let her go ! He was in the process of making it road legal but the task now falls upon me... There is a lighting kit semi fitted and real nice tagasako excel supermoto rims in black with gold talon hubs (which look amazing btw). I have looked on a few forums of how to make her road legal and keep seeing about applying to the manufacturers about a "certificate of newness" but I have no idea how to apply for it through yamahas site. Could anyone please offer some advice or point me in the right direction as to what it is I need to do, I would be very grateful and would return the favour by helping out whoever I can on this forum with questions of their own :)
