Ok.. This has been annoying me for a while - has anyone ever seen self adjusting motorcycle screens? As the speed increases they move upwards. I saw a police officer in the US with one but have not been able to find anyone who makes these. Beginning to think I imagined it but I did find a patent for it. http://www.google.co.uk/patents/US7281750

Hey Malleus I have one of these on my FJR! It's not automatic but has the button on the left bar and I can have it anywhere from fully down to upright.

This is a new one they are playing with at the moment mate.

Just ran into a guy yesterday who had one on his Kawasaki concourse. Pretty slick! Can't tell you where he got it though.  

thanks - looks cool. Currently have no need for one but think they are a good idea and am also glad I did not just imagine the screen was moving around.

Having earned a fair few quid sorting out the self-adjusting spoilers and clutch cables on several cars, I'd personally beware of anything "self-adjusting"... but I'm old and behind the times anyway!!
