Posted May 31, 20168 yr Ive managed to lose a bit of my exhaust or heat shield dunno wat its actually classed as. Im selling my bike in a few weeks so want to get that bit covered n looking half decent at least. Can i buy numerous different  bits to cover it up e.g straight bits and corner bit or should i buy the full thing again and change the entire exhaust( rather not do that)
June 1, 20168 yr You're right , that's the exhaust heat shield . You could replace the part or make one up easily enough . Or you could tell any prospective buyer that it's missing and allow him/her a few quid off the asking price . Careful you don't melt your boots/leg off that exhaust .
June 1, 20168 yr A quick google search and it looks like there might be some on Ebay. I can't confirm this tho as Ebay is blocked on my works PC just type in "XVS 125 exhaust sheld"
June 2, 20168 yr Author cheers guys, ive got a buyer who is happy to buy without the part. He didnt even haggle with the price,score. Now just need to find a 650cc dragstar bike.
