I am new to R1 although not new to bikes.

I have been riding a R6 for some time now, but recently shifted to R1.

The model is 05 (2nd hand )done about 3000 km's.

I wanted to know from experienced people the following.

1- Why does R1 have more mechanical sound from the engine than R6.

2- Why is the engine of R1 so rough at low rpm's as compared to R6.

Is the mechanical noise / roughness normal or there is something wrong with the bike.

Mine is the same, I ran a R6 for the last 3 1/2 years bought a 02 model R1 this year and this is really noisey @ low rpm. Dealer told me they are all like that.
