jimmysheffield
My Dragstar 400 rear brake lever is very high and awkward to use from the footpeg, can it be adjust and would footplates help solve the problem.?? If footplates are the way to go where is the best value place?
slice
Ok then, not sure what your skill level is so from the beginning. Take the brake lever off, after you have marked the lever and the shaft to show where it was, then rotate down wards till you have it in the place you feel comfortable then just run it back onto the splines of the shaft and do it up. But be aware that if you lower it to much then it can dig in the ground if you get to enthusiastic with it, you will have to adjust the brake pivot point as well to allow for the brake light switch. Should be fairly easy.
