Variomatic
Since it started when it cooled down maybe a heat issue? Engine cut out to stop itself overheating? Excessive heat caused an electrical issue?
slice
Check your water/coolant level, that might be it, as above it does sound like an overheat. Some folks have had a slight problem with the neutral switch but other than that it seems a pretty solid bike.

If it is an overheating situation, it may have just been the hot weather, if not that then there could be something causing the overheating. But this is just speculation on the possibility of an overheat. Generally the most simple answer if the correct one.
awidowsson
Problem sorted. Datatool alarm faulty, only 2years old. I got it replaced under warranty - cost £80.00 call out- might go down the line of getting some sort of compo from datatool. anyway the bikes up and running. Happy days

clarke
Ah, if you had said it had an alarm, I'd have said that's probably the culprit, and even if not, it's likely to cause more problems than it's worth at some point. Glad you're sorted
