Posted April 25, 20168 yr Hi, folks! I'm Justin, I live in Arlington, Texas (between Dallas and Fort Worth). I just bought my first bike of all time, a 1981 Yamaha XJ750 Seca, and I absolutely love it, but it does need some work. I know limited car mechanics, but damn near nothing about bikes. This is a whole different world for me, so I'm here to dive in, learn as much as I can, and hopefully fix this thing up a little bit over time. I'd post pics, but my phone crashed on Friday. April 25, 20168 yr Moderator Welcome. Don't fret the car/bike difference its all similar, just smaller and more fun. If you can work a set of spanners you will do fine. You might be needing some metric stuff now though eh,
April 25, 20168 yr Welcome aboard ! Bikes are much easier to deal with than cars . I mean for starters you've only got two wheels to worry about instead of four !
