Thanks for the replies I will try them the problem I have is its a xs 250 with xs 400 barrels and heads. The carbs I am just not sure about I have measured the internal diameter of the carbs and they are around 31.6mm. I could do with getting a set of 400 carbs that I know are right. These of course would have to be used.

Apparently a lot of XS650 parts will fit too, so perhaps check that side out. A lot of owners mentioned this super-secret place called "eBay" too...

Mikexs has stuff and there is a sister xs650 site in Holland too.

 

eBay is usually the best, but widen it out to europe

i was looking for original fasteners ( the ones you can see on the handlebars etc) for my 1980 rx 125 and lo and behold my local yamaha dealer was able to get them from the factory.
