microtr6
Hello all, I have started a new membership since my email has changed. It's now [email protected]. I got my YAS1C started this weekend after restoring and fixing the leaks in the gas tank and replacing fuel lines, etc. It is smoking terribly periodically, which causes the engine to misfire and sometime die. From what I can read this is likely caused by the crank seal leaking. Make sense? Any help on where I can find a replacement? Also need to rebuild the oil injection pump (I think), so will be in need of replacement parts for the oil pump as well. Any help you can provide with sourcing these parts and their replacement would be much appreciated. Thanks! Mike
blackhat250
This bikes a twin aint it " if its fokked crank seals, the right hand pot will foul if sucking gear oil, this pipe will smoke more, and stinks, the left seal will suck air,[ generator side] and the idle creeps up as the engine warms,

microtr6
blackhat250...perfect! That's exactly what it's doing, right side smokes occasionally and blasts out oil. I have the replacement seals, is there any special trick to replacing the crankcase seals? Thanks!
