Hi guys I've bought a 125 virago cheap as exhaust has a hole, I'm looking at replacing it with a cool looking (and sounding) slash cut style and have seen this

Would anyone know if this will pass  a UK MOT with it installed and bafflers still in it.

Is it not possible to weld/repair the originals for MOT purposes, then once its passed, fit the new pipes?
