Posted March 3, 20169 yr Morning all, Passed my unrestricted A licence just before Christmas 2015 and I'm now the owner of a pampered, shiny 1999 XVS650A. I have a nice pic taken at Loomies after he's had a clean and an ACF50 treatment!) I have bought a few extras already such as F8430 saddlebags (not sure if they'll fit but I'll sell them on if not) and footboards with the brackets (not going to fit those in a hurry as I'm still getting used to the new riding position). I've picked up a few useful tips from the forum already so I'll read on! Cath

March 9, 20169 yr Welcome Cath.  And deffo agree with cotterpot re a proper bike! By the way cotterpot - I too am a (sadly exiled to Lincolnshire now) Norfolk Boy. Went to school in Blakeney and Wells. You in that area?
