Posted January 31, 20169 yr Look on the bay 35 miles on the clock since 1977. Woman bought it and left it at the dealership.
January 31, 20169 yr Moderator What use is it other than in a museum. Dry seals, hard grease, it would need rebuilding before you rode it away.
January 31, 20169 yr Moderator Why would you want to spend £5g on a DT175 let alone an import !...it's not going to happen is it !, It's just a fishing exercise and what the clock says is what the clock has done
February 2, 20169 yr Rather have a nice XT500 , i do have a TY50P with only 1 mile on the clock and never registered. I cant use it and its only an ornament but still looks good. TTB
February 2, 20169 yr I had two mates [ 1977 THAT WAS] had them TY50P"s , my they were slow, [ legislation] one rode to Aviemore [ 90mls ] on it, I had my DT175C.[ like Nayruff"s ], and at the campsite we saw a DT400B, we thought it was massive, we were all 11 stone then , Happy days,,,,,
February 2, 20169 yr I had one when i was 15 and yes they were slow, slower than slow, still had a charm for me though.
February 2, 20169 yr Moderator Cool, I had the DT50m, basically the same bike but without the pedals and mine was a long way from slow. Well for a 50 (possibly cough 60) cc
