Hiya, basically I've got a yamaha dtr 125 2001 model and whenever you put into dipped beam the front light turns off, but the rear light is still working and when you put it on main beam the front light turns on but then the rear light turns off, I've fitted new bulbs still hasn't solved the problem if anyone has had the same problem or knows anything about it you'd be a great help.

Very strange, has it always done this? Might be worth trying some WD40 in the switchgear 

Agree with finnerz89 - maybe a bad earth? Best to give all connections and spray with wd40 and use clean them up with some sandpaper ! Usually does the trick!
