Variomatic Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 I use "Muc-Off Endurance chain lube" It's shit. 3
finnerz89 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Wurth dry chain lube is great. Just not at this time of year. I've taken to just brushing on some gear oil
Ttaskmaster Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Scottoiler for me. Love it. Blue oil works fine for all my purposes and ride types, all weather, all year round. Bought a big bottle of blue ages ago, so long I can't remember, yet still I've not run out. Cost maybe a tenner or so, I think? Only thing cheaper, IMO, is a shaft drive.
finnerz89 Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I'm looking into automatic oilers now my commute has increased. I've been having to relube it virtually everyday with all this bloody rain! Lol.
blackhat250 Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 wHAT BIKE FINNERZ" , the triple ? them exhausts will be tarnished ,,
slice Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I have a spare Scott oiler and a bottle of red oil if anyone's interested? The FJR don't need it like the FJ. PM me if you want it anyone! It does need a couple of pipes, one from the carb and the transfer pipe, both available from ebay for a few quid.

I have looked at the scottoiler systems and while I'm sure they are great once set up for the time taken and price I think I may aswell just do it myself. However this is the kind of price and simplicity I would be happy with.
Moderator drewpy Posted January 24, 2016 Moderator Posted January 24, 2016 there's this too works on pressure from the lid. A bit like the cable oilers
finnerz89 Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Looks good, only lubricates one side of the chain though! Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
