I am restoring  a 1979 FS1E and on the log book it states that the colour is yellow.  How can I tell if this is correct? The vin starts with 3F6. Does anyone know how I tell ?

Not to sure what your question is? If it says it's "YELLOW" in the log book then there's your answer, is it another colour? Or perhaps you could explain a bit more what it is you want to know.

Try contacting Yamaha customer services ([email protected]) and provide the frame number. They should be able to confirm the colour the bike was supplied in.
