Evening all,

My name is Gary and I joined the forum back at the back end of 2013, when I managed to get hold of the first bike that I rode... a DT175MX. I have just started with my restoration in the last couple of days. I've not long finished restoring a 1969 Series 2a Land Rover hence the delay in starting the DT. I look forward to communicating with fellow members.

Hi gary " ,  I had a 2A  , back in 1985.  it was 1966.   I fitted the 2 litre Land Rover diesel , [ how rare were they] as te 2.25 petrol was 48mpg

.now run a 300tdi,   320,000 miles on it,  ,nowt done to the engine,   bar belts waterpump, etc,...lots of DT help in here, .
