Malleus
Ask em. Did you test ride it?Apparently it is the headlight harness for all these models that has been recalled due to the fact it is too short and can disconnect at full lock! *facepalm* - I did not test ride this specific bike. But as it is a general issue with all models, not too bothered now.
Malleus
Finally picked it up yesterday, just in time for the weekend (and snow..) loving it so far. One complaint is - the owners manual is of lower quality paper than the YBR - .. Also it says it is my responsibility to park it somewhere where 'pedestrians and children cant' touch the hot parts' - I don't feel it is.. Some people have to learn the hard way. Already have my shopping list of bits and pieces I want to add to it so I am sure you guys can look forward to some 'oops I have broken my bike' and 'why does this not fit back where it was supposed etc.' posts in time.

Variomatic
Uhh, hate sharing my helmet with bugs, especially wasps! Congrats on passing your test, I plan to follow suite after I find a job, bet it's a huge jump, from 11hp to over 110, bet you'll have fun with that big triple?

Congrats on passing your test, I plan to follow suite after I find a job, bet it's a huge jump, from 11hp to over 110, bet you'll have fun with that big triple? For the first 10 minutes in rush hour traffic I was thinking 'I miss my YBR' but after that I am loving it and to be fair for the size it is fairly agile. I am still struggling with tight turns from standstill a bit.. but really I should just avoid being in positions where I have to do this. - No more lifting up the front end and moving it like I had done in the past with the YBR

It gets me places, but you really have to set aside some time to get there, even if you really give it some, the engine just doesn't have much to give Still though, I love Betty, even if she's not the best bike in the world
