Hi everyone

Just bought myself a Yamaha xj600 Pre diversion for £400,  been sitting for 2 years but everything seems to work well.  Going to give it a service and see if I can get an MOT on it.  It needs a new seat, and its also got a dent in the fuel tank,  anyone have any ideas of how to get a dent like this out?  I saw on you tube someone got a pump up blood pressure monitor and put it in the tank, pumped it up and popped it out!

Shed? That looks more like a spare room in the house.

Anyway Puffnut, Puffnut? welcome to the forum.

THE guy that pullout dents in doors,  wth a slide hammer mayb:rolleyes:e,,    ,,,,:welcome:

Nice bike, welcome.

Maybe an old wives tale but looooong time ago I heard something like, fill it with uncooked peas ........ you heard me right :-) and fill it with water.

Peas swell up and push dent out.

Could have completely wrong end of stick ...... in which case, carry on
