NORTHMAN62 Posted October 27, 2015 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Hi allI'm a newbie to this site and will appreciate any help anyone can give.Right, here's my problem, a while back my speedo went to zero whilst riding, a few kilometres later it came back to normal, it happened twice, same thing.Last week it packed in totally, I am not a techno wizard or an ace mechanic but will have a go. Is there any way or test to find out if the speed sensor is working before I buy a new one? I've checked all fuses, no nipped wires and the toothed cog seems in good order eg no visible signs of being loose.Bike in question is a 99 xvs dragstar 1100Thanks in advance.
