Had a similar thing with my FJ, had a Datatool device on it, I just followed each wire from the unit to where it joined the loom and cut the buggers off and tidied it up with tape, it really isn't rocket science, as long as you get all the wires removed your back to a bike with no alarm or immobiliser. You can if you want use heat shrink if you leave enough of a tail then it really is water proof. Don't trace the wires from the loom to the unit, trace from the unit to the loom. It's fiddly and time consuming but easy to do.
