Have seen other posts about similar problems. My problem starts sometimes after short stops and at speed. It cuts out similar to running out of fuel. I can restart engine once its dead and ride on fine for a while but it has begun to become more regular. Plenty of fuel and plug looks fine and set correctly.

Hi David, this should really be in the Workshop section mate, Never mind, if it's not fuel then it has to be electrical, try a replacement regulator, they get hot and break down then when they cool they work fine again, if you know where it is then run your bike till it stops then grab hold of it and see how hot it is, make sure you only touch it carefully as if it's what I think it is then you could burn yourself. They do run hot anyway so don't think just cos it's warm that's a fix, look in your manual and see what it says about testing your regulator with a multimeter.

Check out this or something else, might help you see where your problem is. https://youtu.be/kDx3zgOLShY
