Hi Everyone,

I have just imported my 2008 R6 from Cape Town and have already taken it for an MOT, which it passed. In order for me to have my bike registered, I would need to get a European Certificate of Conformity. My bike is stock standard with the exception of the headlights, which is xenon instead of the standard halogen (so I can see better at night). I have been struggling to get this European CoC as Yamaha in Japan has been very slow to respond. My bike is probably the same version as that of European models with the exception of the dash which shows km/h.

I would really appreciate it if I can get some advice on how to get this CoC instead of having to go through the IVA. Also, does my bike have to show mph? In the event that I have to go for an IVA, does my dash need to show mph in order to pass?

Many thanks for your help and advice - much appreciated.

Kind Regards

Lawrence

Hi and welcome to the YOC, it usually helps if you SAY HELLO first before you start asking for help, if you would be kind enough to pop over to the new members section and say hello you might get more help. Imagine your in a bar, would you just ask strangers questions or would you introduce yourself first? Someone on here has already done this so they will help out if they can.:D
