2smoker Posted August 17, 2015 Share Posted August 17, 2015 Hey all, sorry to post such a negative comment as i'm a newbie, but my TZR is really grinding my gears.recently bought this bike and was over the moon, soon as i started hit that power band i've had a huge grin on my face.problem is every day i'm changing the plug!! it always comes out with a thick black residue on?!? I've been advised it is getting to much oil? how do i restrict the flow? even consider taken pump off and premixing??appreciate all advise. blackhat250 Posted August 17, 2015 Share Posted August 17, 2015 (edited) Hi smoker, the pumps are foolproof, they seldom go wrong, it be your mixture [ air/fuel.] check what jets are in carb, as lots of meddling will have been done, , set air screw to factory settings also.
