Hey all, sorry to post such a negative comment as i'm a newbie, but my TZR is really grinding my gears.

recently bought this  bike and was over the moon, soon as i started hit that power band i've had a huge grin on my face.

problem is every day i'm changing the plug!! it always comes

out with a thick black residue on?!?

I've been advised it is getting to much oil? how do i restrict the flow?  even consider taken pump off and premixing??

appreciate all advise.

Hi smoker,  the pumps are foolproof, they seldom go wrong,  it be your mixture [ air/fuel.]   check what jets are in carb, as lots of meddling will have been done, , set air screw to factory settings also.

So if the advice was to drop it 6feet would you do that.

Have you checked ANYTHING. Could just be a dirty filter.

No intro either......
