Digger1965
hihave an 80 xt 250 3y3 and it has just failed on excessive play at bottom shock (where it meets the swingarm) i am worried that this is incorrect as it is just a shaft with cotter pin that threads through the holes in swingarm..?bushings and shock eye bushings are soundam worried even if i replace swingarm it will still be the same if designed that way?(and could not shift the shaft for all the heaving in the world)if anyone has a chance to rock the swing arm on their xt and see if there is any movement at bottom of shock it would solve a big mystery for memany thanks and erm..hello thereJJ
Tommy10bikes
Theres a good chance the pin is worn but you may also find the shock bush is also worn. , i had to replace my lads on his XT250 resto. TTB
