June 23, 20159 yr Author Just found out it's called a seal guard, part number 1LN-22151-00, and in the uk it costs two arms and two legs.Doh!
June 24, 20159 yr Hi rich "   you"l prob heve to take of the swing arm to fit it too. looks simple . but a seized spindle and its a big job,,,Sorry for late reply, but the site is changed , members are finding there way round,,,
June 24, 20159 yr Author Hi Blackhat, Thanks for the info, the spindle is fine, I've had the swing arm off, no problems, it's just getting this flaming piece of crap plastic.£40 odd + vat and of course carriage. Like I said mine has gone to powder which kind of puts me off buying a second hand one.Guess I might have to bite the bullet at some point.Richard Â
June 27, 20159 yr Author Nope, I have a lathe and I am Turner, this part ain't round, it could be done on a milling machine with great difficulty.I would have made one if it was possible, believe me.Richard
