Does anyone know if a tank from an 1982 xj550 will fit my xj600 pre diversion.

I am looking to change the look of mine, to a tracker cáfe racer look.

If not any suggestions ?

If you take the tank mounts off the original bike too then yes, don't see why not. Bit of welding but nothing drastic.

Otherwise very unlikely. The tank has to fit round everything else, the differences between the 550 and the 600 are far from subtle.

Thanks, the 550 tank is just a possibility. I am just starting this project so no decided yet it's a work in progress.
