Posted April 9, 20159 yr Hi guys just checked the valve clearances on my XJ600. # 1,2,3. Inlet are 0.09 to 0.10.mm #3 Exhaust is 0.30mm. I need two 2.60mm 1x 2.70mm 1x 2.75mm The Shims are 25mm wide. Tried eBay but no joy. Dose anybody know a good site where I could get the shims. Cheers Mel.

April 11, 20159 yr I've had bikes that needed shims which were no longer available and impossible to find in the right sizes. There is a company based out of australia that will custom make shims of any size and thickness. I think theyre called Precision Shim. The price wasnt all that bad considering I didnt have much of a choice. I think I paid $70 shipped for 4 shims. Not too bad considering what shipping was.
