I have a 06 black morphus and received a small blemish as a result of scraping a parked white car.

Can anybody suggest what I can use to remove this mark? Compound? soap and water?

thanks. kw

Right mate.

First of all does the mark disappear under water? If so it will flat out using some 2000 grit wet and dry and some compound.

If it doesn't is it a mark that is on the surface like paint from amother bike etc. This will flat off aswell using the above. If it is a scratch get some paint and touch it in with a fine artists brush. Allow it to dry put some more in and repeat until the scratch has filled up. Allow it to dry properly for a couple of days then flat and compound it out.

Note that you have to be very careful flatting out this sort of damage as it is easy to go through the laquer.

I sprayed the front fender on my R6 today and the laquer had colour in it, this makes it easier to flat back as there is more to ontop of the body work.

Hope this helps.

PS welcome to the forum mate.
