Hi,

I have recently purchased a 1980 RD400.

How can you tell if the mudguards are genuine Yamaha parts or aftermarket?

    Usually the edges of pattern fenders are sharp . not proper folded ,,,

    Ive found the tuning forks emblem on the underside of a few things. Try taking them off and looking for it.
