Hey there,

As I was pulling into work today I noticed my rev counter being a bit of a nob. While rolling to a stop in neutral I spotted my rev needle snapping to 0-1,500-4,000 rev point while bike just sat there in idle,

I'll have a link to the video in the bottom, But basically wanted to know if it was a sign of something bad or if the clocks are just on their way out. Or it may very well be a perfectly normal thing, I dont know.

If your lucky then just a bust or loose connection I would think, is it an electronic rev counter? Cos that might be a relay or some such failing. May be the crank sensor or something else like a bad earth.

Sounds like a bad connection to me, I had exactly the same problem about a year ago. Have you asked on Fazer Owners Club www.foc-u.co.uk ?
