If you ever do strip the thread on the sump , a cork from a sherry bottle or similar can keep you rolling until you can fix it properly .

looks like something else to leak, never stripped a sump plug there always well lubricated are't they. Drew you must spend hours just trying to find something to buy

but its a lot easier to drain off the oil than trying to reuse/buy the sealing washer

Can just imagine coming back to the bike in the car park with a big puddle of oil underneath where some toe rag has come along and drained it just for fun.

Mine is copper. Just re-aneal it. 2mins with a blowtorch.

That just looks like bolt on trouble.
