luke.russell.771 Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 Kk ill try it soon gonna av to do it weekend now tho lol as its at ma mates and he dont get back till friday night lol
Noise Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Yer the best thing is to put oil in it and leave it to soak through over time might even take a few days to free it up then start knocking it with a mallet as Drew said, take care not to go mad and snapping the fins off the barrel, also heat up the barrel not the piston.
lascellebubear Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Look through the exhaust exit and push a screw driver up pushing the rings in so its easier for it to come out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
luke.russell.771 Posted December 5, 2014 Author Posted December 5, 2014 Im replacing barrel any way with a 70 kit so not to fussed about breaking fins lol will try not to tho as might be able to keep barrel as a spair lol
luke.russell.771 Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 Still no joy with the barrel it looks like previous owner has neglected this bike can I just confirm that there is only 4 bolts holding this head on lol as its just not budging from the one corner took somr pics of the barrel and piston side tho and I can definatly say it 100% needed changing
blackhat250 Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Ok luke " the best penetrating fluid is ATF-acitone mix ,,, = nail varnish remover,&Auto transmission fluid. spray that in there
