Hi all

Obvious ones are contact police and insurance company. Anything else, with the hope I might retrieve it?

Thanks!

Talk to your neighbours as they might have seen something and might even know which little scrote took it. Look on ebay and gumtree to see if the parts from your bike start coming up for sale, sorry and all that but if you see someone who is not a dealer selling parts for your bike and they live local nip round with some mates and a baseball bat and have a "conversation" with them.

Worth dropping a line to local scrappies (vehicular and otherwise) to be on the look out, especially if your bike has Datatagging or similar kind of watermarking on the mirrors and/or other parts.

Make sure it's your bike they've nicked the parts off, before you let the bat converse though, yeh!!!

I would patrol around all the local council estates, fields, woods and other known places where people ride bikes anti-socially.

Yip as grouch"o says , if its you DT it wil be in the fields with half wits
