Posted September 28, 201410 yr Hi, bought my son a dt125. Previous owner tried to convert it to off road but after cutting all wires and removing lights etc he gave up and we bought as it was non runner. It is a 2000 model I think and would appreciate any advice on wiring and cdi to achieve a spark. Thanks
September 29, 201410 yr First you need is a wireing diagram, then main parts are pickup coil to cdi ,cdi to ignition coil and kill switch. Then charging coil to regulator/rectifier to battery and ignition, lighting if you intend to wire it up as well. The owner of the site has made it clear that no copy rights are to be broken so unless someone wants to sit and type out every wire for you,, doubt you going to get all that information. Hayans manuals are cheap and your local Yam dealer can do cd manuals or photo copy pages
September 29, 201410 yr Author Thanks for reply. He doesnt want to replace lights etc just a field bike so hopefully it will be a little straight forward. Thanks
