alfotuning Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 i have never took my reeds out people say they need replacing and very important to look after them but i cant believe it makes much difference using vforce?? any way they look same on google as the dt125 reeds will they fit thanks http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/V-Force-Reeds-Husqvarna-125-/171468190398?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item27ec4cf2be
slice Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Lots of manufacturers use the same kit on their bikes but just cos it looks the same don't usually mean they are the same in my experience, it's similar to is not the same as it's identical, your only way to tell is to try one and see if it fits and runs I would think. Someone on here might know but don't hold your breath waiting for a definite answer as I bet most folks have never even thought of Huqvarna parts on a Yam.
alfotuning Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Thanks for the reply. Ive never took my reeds out so I'm not sure what the look like. If they stay cheap maybe ill buy them in not sure.
Moderator Cynic Posted September 23, 2014 Moderator Posted September 23, 2014 Smoke and mirrors. The exhaust and the actual port sizes control 2stroke power. Reeds may affect pick up very slightly but unless the rest of the system is highly worked you wont notice. The different reeds.
