Daniel Ramshaw
Hi I'm new to geared bikes and I've very recently bought a RXS 100, when I'm stopped with the bike in 1st and the clutch pulled in the bike won't shift into neutral or any other gear does anyone know why, does my clutch need adjusting or is that the way the bike was made. Thanks for your time Dan
Noise
Hi Dan, Welcome to the YOC, it would be cool just to nip into the new members section and pop up an intro if you'd be so kind. As for your problem, does it happen after you have ridden it like when you stop at traffic lights? or does it happen from the get go? (IE start up kick into 1st but then cant select any thing else.) Can you select all the gears when the bike is turned off and with no clutch? And when was its last oil change?
Moderator Airhead Posted August 22, 2014 Moderator Share Posted August 22, 2014 It's often the way Dan, I go from 2nd to neutral just before I come to a stop myself. I never seee the need to go right down to 1st for stopping!
Daniel Ramshaw
I can go through the gears without the bike running and no clutch and yes it happens after I've ridden also the clutch to pull away I only have to let it out about a quarter of the way before it engages. Thanks Dan
