There's some real innovative concepts on this beast.....especially in the front end, such as an Adjustable Trail @ the axle.....& what they call Coaxial Steering @ the triple clamps. here.....Have a look for yourselves...... http://www.motoczysz.com/main.php?area=bike I just read where they are also looking for data aquisition technicians as well......definitely a growing company. Moderator YamaHead Posted March 6, 2006 Author Moderator Posted March 6, 2006 Standard 6-pot Brembo's
Guest Tomg Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 brakes look like a carbon compound. pretty mucyh same as gp bikes i think by the way what does the "pot" bit mean? people say 6 Pot but i don't get what it means. any help
Admin Alex Posted March 8, 2006 Admin Posted March 8, 2006 If you take a caliper to bits, you will see a piston as such which pushes the pad against the disk. This is what is called a pot.
Robbie Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Basically tom the more pots ther are the stronger the brake as each pot can exert a greater pressure on the pad. The one's on that bike are sick bearing in mind most cars only have 4 pot and sports models may get 6.
Admin Alex Posted March 11, 2006 Admin Posted March 11, 2006 I was pretty sure that most cars only had single piston
Robbie Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 I was pretty sure that most cars only had single piston It depends on the age of the car. Modern ones are pretty much all 4 pots enless they are an extremely cheap and small cars. Saying that I think the latest Porches have 8 pots.
Robby Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Im in love. that has got to be the coolest Yam ever, on second thoughts the coolest bike ever, I thought Buell was extreme !! Rob
Dark 46 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Good luck . I thought it was suposed to be racing last year or am I wrong?
Moderator YamaHead Posted March 15, 2006 Author Moderator Posted March 15, 2006 That's the impression I was under there Dark Might be down to sponsorship deals now?
Guest Yam100RX-S Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Is that just a concept model? Or will they be making them for road use too? Cos that's a mint looking bike with originality written all over it.
Moderator YamaHead Posted July 20, 2006 Author Moderator Posted July 20, 2006 No Concept model here.....I think they're just trying to get all their ducks in a row (so 2 speak)....before they head off to Europe to run it against the Big Boyz of MotoGP.
