Posted July 29, 201410 yr Hi, my 2008 xt 125 engine recently blew up. I bought a 2006 engine with low mileage to replace it. I didn't realise that the air/fuel pump outlets differ on the 2 models what suggestions/advice does anybody have to make the air pump 'connected'. I have looked at pictures of the 2006 engine as it should be, and it appears the air pipe that connects to the cylinder head on the 2008 model is left unconnected on the 2006 model as the cylinder head has no fixing for it.
