Hi just wondering if anyone has experienced their xvs 650 jumping 5th to 4th... thinking this happens when gears are cold or I may not be engaging properly. Just bought it from dealer a couple of months ago. Thanks!

Only time mine dose this is if i short shift and the gears dont go in properly, make sure your not being too girly when lifting the gear lever.

Yep if your girly about gear changes then it will drop out (as above) change gear like you mean it not like your afraid of it. Once you get it right you will feel/know the difference. People treat their bikes like cars and they are not the same, with bikes you have to tell it who is boss! :jossun:
