I've been coming across this message thread so many times over the last couple of years (I got myself an ancient 73 or 74 ag175 from a shed deep in the inner NSW) and i have long been planning to restore it. 

Unfortunately i've had a lack of time, experience and money as well as a semblance of a garage or workshop space but I think that is slowly changing and I'm hoping to restore it this year. 

I might hit you up with questions once I'm done reading this massive 8 page thread. 

Unfortunately I only have the one bike but at least (last I started it half a year ago) it was still starting and running. 

I'm bloody excited. Though I'm sad most of your photos have gone and aren't hosted any more.

Thats cool,,,,i thought the 175"s were CT.  and AG  was 125
