Hi,

I've been having a tinker with the SR125 today, as recently I noticed the exhaust was blowing from roughly where the silencer joins the exhaust pipes. I thought there was a hole around the weld or something like that. However, when looking into it a bit more, there is a small hole but it doesn't look like a rusted hole. Its probably about 2mm in diameter and doesn't look like its there as the result of rust, being perfectly circular. Rather than just plugging it with exhaust gum, I thought I'd ask first, see if there's a reason for it. Have only got the owners manual rather than a workshop manual, so it doesn't really cover it. So can anyone help??

Cheers...

My guess would be a drain hole for moisture in the pipe.

That makes sense, given its location at virtually the bottom of the silencer.

Glad I didn't just fill it in with exhaust gum! :D
