Good day all! Just joined this forum as i got my first Yamaha on friday! Always wanted an R1 now i have one. I came from a 2007 Honda CBR1000RR Repsol(Had 2 of them now) and now i have a black and gold, 2009 Yamaha R1 with 10 000km on the clock, 2 Bros Carbon Fiber exhaust, and in pristine condition.... What a machine! I am in love!

Quick question. I read about the CCT issue on these R1's, anything to look out for and was there a recall in south africa?

hopeing to get some interesting info here.
