hi guys,

I'm now the proud owner of a XT125X 2011 however it has a broken speedo. I'm wondering if i need to replace it with one from another 2011 model or if I can use say the clocks from a 2009?

Stock xt dash = junk replace with a vapor or other aftermarket.

I know member Grouch replaced his with an aftermarket one, don't know what he used but I remember he said it was far better than the original one you could PM him for advice, but my advice is to say hi in the new members section first.

i have a universal speedo fitted to mine, i agree with all the above.... don't waste your money buying genuine new or seconded hand yamaha ones, they will just break

yeh replacing it with an aftermarket clock would be the better option I'm sure but getting back to the original question does anyone know if the clocks are the same on previous year models? or do I need the clocks from a 2011?

Check part numbers against eachother same # same part.
