shog71
Hi guys and girls Can i tell you all about the rewind weeknd that is happening at knockhill race circuit in Scotland on the weekend of the 21st June, sorry i have not been able to give you more notice but ive just found the site. Knockhill and a few guys have had the idea of getting lc's txr's ect back on our race circuits for those of us who remember proddy racing back in the day.The whole idea was the dream of a good friend John Donald from a little old place on the north east coast called Montrose, John has been bike daft since he was born and raced lcs back in the day so decided he would try to put together a weekend where like minded people could once again enjoy and remember what it was like. After contacting Knockhill they said they would love to help and arranged it for the 21/22nd June this year with track time and a big marquee for those of you with priceless bikes who just love to show them off. The weekend being the first of what they hope will become an annual event is part of a scottish championship round with the track time and parade lap all part of the festivities. We contacted Niall Mackenzie to tell him about it and he was over the moon to come along for the weekend with his fully restored lc350 and has promised to try and set a new lap record haha. The full event is also being covered by Practical SportsBike Magazine which the team are delighted about also including photos of the guys on track with Niall. If any of you are able to attend you will be made more than welcome even more so if you can bring a bike along to help share in the track time or just display your pride and joy for everyone else to see. For anything else you wish to no please contact Gemma Hobbs at Knockhill race circuit on 01383 723337 or e mail [email protected]
