neversaydie
its probably a woodruff key, part circular. Use some release oil, (or diesel), on the mating surfaces, let it soak in, refit the PULLER, tighten the bolt, tap the end of the bolt head with a hammer, see if that allows the bolt to tighten a touch more Youve gotta be patient

tomyqss
yes its a 3 pin puller, bolts in to the fly wheel...my friend came around for a quick look who used to be mechanic... he hit really really hard! way harder then i was hitting it...an it still didn't pop off how hard can you hit it? kinda scared me the way he was hitting it lol
Moderator Airhead Posted May 23, 2014 Moderator Share Posted May 23, 2014 you mean a 3 legged puller? if so thats the wrong tool and you will risk damaging the flywheel using it!
tomyqss
i got it off! i the thing nearly took my head off when it pooped off, on first inspection every thing looks good an not broken yes 3 legged puller, i bought one an made one, strangely, its the one i made i got it off with... the only other puller i saw was one that screwed into the centre of the flywheel, but theres no thread in the centre of mine to screw one in, thats the only other kind i saw
